Various algorithm solutions, including client-based, relay-based, and list-based feeds each have unique merits. It's also possible that the conventional "infinite scroll" feed is inherently flawed and better options exist.

Just as walled gardens have managed us in the past to sway political opinion or pump the bags of Big X, an open, interoperable content graph will make building a repressive administrative state almost too easy.

My Nostr story

How should clients represent relays in user interfaces? Are they dimensions? coordinates? layers? buttons? checkboxes? topics? people? I don't know.

Instead of allowing non-standard data services like search engines or recommendations gatekeep relays, flip the script and make relays the gatekeepers instead. The addition of a single feature can open the door for relays to support any extension at no additional cost.
